General Terms and Conditions
We, “Majestic Mile Chauffeurs,” reserve the right to modify or amend our terms of service as described here at any time. When you make a booking with us, you accept these terms, which apply to all passengers, regardless of whether they made the booking or not. In these terms, "we," "us," or "company" refers to Majestic Mile Chauffeurs Ltd., and "you," "your," or "client" refers to the person making the booking with us or acting on their behalf.
- No one other than drivers employed by the company is allowed to drive the company’s licensed private hire vehicles.
All bookings must be made through our office via the website, phone, or email. We send confirmations to ensure travel coverage. While Majestic Mile Chauffeurs aims to provide punctual service, we are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from delays. We are committed to providing reliable transport. It is the client’s responsibility to allow sufficient time for travel, considering delays and unforeseen circumstances, particularly for critical connections.
We make every effort to accurately record booking details, but we are not liable for misunderstandings from telephone bookings that result in delayed vehicle arrival, incorrect vehicle assignment, or missed bookings. Under no circumstances is Majestic Mile Chauffeurs responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of business or profits. We reserve the right to offer a higher vehicle class if the chosen option is unavailable. All baggage and personal belongings are transported at the client’s own risk.
Any lost property found in our vehicles will be taken to our central office, and reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner. In cases of national emergencies, riots, fuel shortages, extreme weather conditions, terrorist attacks, or other circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel services. If a mechanical failure occurs during a journey, we will immediately arrange for another vehicle.
Unless instructed otherwise, drivers will choose the most convenient route without guaranteeing the shortest option. Clients are responsible for any losses, costs, damages, or expenses caused by the actions or omissions of any of their passengers.
- All charges listed in the current tariff must be paid in full before the start of the journey.
- The company is insured for fire damage, collisions, and third-party liability in vehicles operated by insured drivers.
We reserve the right to refuse transportation to any persons deemed disruptive or posing a threat to the safety of our passengers or staff. If necessary, authorities may be notified to remove offenders from our vehicles, and no compensation or refunds will be provided in such cases.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the service, please send your complaint to contact@majesticmilechauffeurs.co.uk, where a management member will respond as soon as possible.
Majestic Mile Chauffeurs reserves the right to charge the client additional fees if the trip deviates from the original booking and incurs extra costs. The client is responsible for the behavior of all passengers (including wedding guests or any of the hirer's guests) and must compensate the company for any damages caused by passengers to the vehicle or other company property, including cleaning costs resulting from spills or soiling. If the booking is canceled upon the vehicle's arrival but before boarding, the company will charge the client a cancellation fee.
- Attaching or sticking anything to the vehicle without the company's permission is prohibited.
For airport pickups, we cover 1 hour of parking fees. Majestic Mile Chauffeurs offers a 60-minute grace period (from the time of landing). After this, the company reserves the right to charge for the first 60 minutes of waiting/loading time and any additional parking fees. If the client requests more passengers than the vehicle’s licensed capacity and Majestic Mile Chauffeurs was not informed of the change, a cancellation fee will be charged.
- Fifteen minutes of free waiting time. Afterward, a waiting fee of £30 per 30 minutes will be charged and invoiced to the client.
If the client fails to show up and does not notify us, we cannot offer any refunds.
The cancellation terms for “A to B,” “As Directed,” “Wait and Return,” or “Event” bookings are as follows:
For airport pickups, Majestic Mile Chauffeurs does not charge for the first 45 minutes of waiting time after the flight has landed. After that, the waiting time fee is £25 per 30 minutes, calculated proportionally.
Upon the driver’s arrival at the specified pick-up location, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. After this, Majestic Mile Chauffeurs reserves the right to cancel the trip without a refund.
